The York County Board of Commissioners met according to law on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. as per notice in the York News Times on July 30, 2015, with Chairman Bill Bamesberger presiding, with Jack Sikes, Randy Obermier, Kurt Bulgrin and Paul Buller. Also present at the meeting was Melanie Wilkinson, correspondent for the York News Times, Kelly, Turner County Clerk.
The agenda of the meeting was posted on the bulletin board in the County Clerk’s office and a copy of the agenda was made available to each Commissioner.
Bamesberger announced that the Open Meetings Act was posted outside the door along with copies in the back of the Board Room. Proof of publication was also available.
Moved by Sikes, seconded by Bulgrin, to approve the minutes of the July 21, 2015, Board of Commissioners meeting; with the change of, the Commissioners approve to sign Resolution #15-48 Preliminary Engineering Service Agreement between York County and JEO Consulting Group, Inc. during the Board meeting on July 7, 2015; roll call: yeas, Sikes, Bulgrin, Obermier, Buller and Bamesberger; nays none, motion carried

Moved by Bulgrin, seconded by Obermier, adopt Resolution #15-49 to cap the Veterans Aid Fund (1900) at $30,000.00, roll call; yeas, Bulgrin, Obermier, Sikes, Buller and Bamesberger, nays none, motion carried.
WHEREAS, the York County Board of Commissioners met at their regular meeting on the 4th day of August 2015, and discussed the capping of the Veterans Aid Fund (1900) and,
WHEREAS, the York County Board of Commissioner set that the Veterans Aid Fund (1900) be capped in the amount of $30,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the budget of the York County Veterans Aid Fund (1900) will be capped at the set amount of $30,000.00.

The propose 911 center for the upcoming budget year 2015-2016 was tabled until the next Board meeting set for Tuesday August 18, 2015.
The funding for the courthouse security as to its effects on the 2015-2016 budget was tabled, until the Board has received the report from the US Marshall and to check with the County Court for their input on moving the metal detector to the North door on the main floor. Bamesberger will speak with Denny Crowell to get pricing on additional panic buttons for all offices.
