YORK COUNTY – York County residential property owners who were initially sent incorrect valuation notices (based on the use of the 2020 manual) will receive a board notice for value change in the mail next week. York County Assessor Kurt Bulgrin says the notices will be sent out on Monday, Aug. 5.
The notices explain: “At the York County Board of Equalization meeting on July 23, the Board adopted a motion to revert all residential properties back to the 2008 manual level, thus returning your value to last year’s value, plus growth if you added an improvement or square footage to your property. If you do not agree with this assessment, you have until September 4 at 5 p.m., to protest this valuation. If you have any questions, please call the York County Assessor’s office at 402-362-4926, ext. 6.” Comments are closed.
