The York County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for the position of York County Clerk. The County Clerk is the secretary to the County Board and oversees Elections, Register of Deeds, Accounts Payable and Payroll/HR. Other duties include compiling the budget, audit information, and inventories; registering marriage, alcohol and cigarette licenses; submitting public meeting information to the newspaper; and other duties as assigned by state statute. The successful candidate will fill out the remainder of the term ending in January 2026.
Must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. Must reside in York County Nebraska and be a registered voter with no felony convictions per §23-150. Salary set per resolution, with full benefit package.
