YORK – Although the York County Board of Adjustment doesn’t meet very often, it still is required to exist. With that in mind, reappointments and appointments were made to this board, this past week, by the York County Commissioners. Commissioner Daniel Grotz explained how he reached out to members and others, as the board has five members with one alternate. And one of the members must also serve on the county’s planning commission – Jason Perdue serves in this capacity right now.
“I talked with Jason and he is willing to continue,” Grotz said. He said current members Max Moore and Kim Regier are also willing to continue serving on the board of adjustment. “Two members have asked to be off the board, so we will need to find people to fill those positions,” Grotz explained. Willard Peterson offered to be the alternate or full board member. They agreed to make him a full member. That means they still need to find a full member and an alternate. “If anyone has people in mind, please contact them about serving,” said Commissioner Chairman Randy Obermier. And if anyone is interested in serving in this capacity, they should reach out to a county commissioner. Comments are closed.
