Appointments made to county’s extension board

​YORK – Per the recommendation of York County Extension Agent Tanya Crawford, Amy Bruch and August Richters have been named as new members of the York County Extension Board.

​Crawford met with the York County Commissioners this past week, to talk about these appointments. She said Bruch and Richters would be replacing Conner Mogul and Marie Krausnick who were terming out.
The county board members agreed.
They also reappointed Jeff Steckman to the extension board as his term needed to be renewed as he has agreed to continue serving.
Also during her visit, Crawford provided a brochure to each of the board members outlining the schedules of many different ag programs to be offered in January, February and March. These include pesticide safety education programs, commercial pest training, crop production clinics, chemigation classes, farm and ranch management sessions and on-farm research updates.
