​YORK – Sarah Scott, the Nebraska Department of Revenue property tax administrator, says York County property owners will see major increases in their valuations next year.

YORK – Today, Friday, Oct. 25, is the last day to register to vote for those who want to participate in the 2024 General Election.
Registrations, at this point in the timeline leading up to the election, must be done in-person, at the York County Courthouse, at the clerk/election office.
In order to qualify as a registered voter:

• You must be 18 years old. If you are 17 and will be 18 by election day, you can register.
• To register, you must be a resident of Nebraska and of the county where you are registering. If you move to another county, you must re-register.
• You must be a United States citizen in order to register to vote.
• If you have been found by a court to be mentally incompetent, you cannot register to vote.

YORK COUNTY -- The York County Sheriff's Office is seeking information which leads to the arrest of the person or people involved in the theft of tools at 810 Road 12 in rural York County. 

YORK COUNTY – The 2024 General Election Day is nearly here as Tuesday, Nov. 5, is right around the corner.

YORK COUNTY – The York County Commissioners, sitting as the York County Board of Equalization, has adopted all the final levies for political subdivisions in York County.
