YORK COUNTY – The York County Aging Services office will be providing free assistance with looking up and enrolling in Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) and Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C) during clinics held throughout the county.

YORK COUNTY – York County officials have been receiving questions about setbacks when it comes to right-of-way distances, especially now that crops are being harvested and producers will be putting livestock out in the fields.
YORK – When the York County Commissioners meet in regular session on Tuesday, Oct. 28, they are scheduled to name an interim road supervisor/supervisors.
YORK COUNTY – Registered voters living in District 2 will receive their ballots for a special election regarding the potential recall of Commissioner LeRoy Ott will be receiving their ballots in the mail between Nov. 17 and 25.
YORK – A retirement open house will be held for York County Highway Superintendent Harvey Keim from 2-4 p.m., at the York County Roads Department, on Thursday, Oct. 30.
The public is invited to attend. YORK COUNTY – If people have been receiving emails regarding their homestead exemption status, they are legitimate, according to York County Assessor Kurt Bulgrin.
“In an effort to reduce costs at the state level, the Nebraska Department of Revenue – Property Assessment Division is emailing homestead exemption applicants who are 100% qualified for homestead exemption this year instead of sending them a letter,” Bulgrin explained. “We want the public to know that the email from the state is not a scam, and that they can trust the link provided in the email. If anyone in the public has any questions about their homestead status or the homestead program, please feel free to call the county assessor’s office at 402-362-4926, extension 6.” |
