YORK – Captain Josh Gillespie has been named as the employee of the quarter for the York County Sheriff’s Office. Captain Gillespie is currently in charge of the DARE program and staff members recognize he “plays a vital role in ensuring our office operates smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Our employees have yet to find a technology-related problem he doesn’t have a solution for. There are not enough words to describe everything Captain Gillespie provides for our office. We truly would not be able to do what we do without Captain Gillespie and we are incredibly fortunate to have him.”
Those who nominated him for this honor also said, “Captain Gillespie ensures our staff has everything they need to be successful. He spends countless hours of his personal time doing anything and everything he can to make work easier for everyone around him. Recently, the county built a new gym for county employees and Captain Gillespie spent numerous hours painting and putting together gym equipment. It is next to impossible to truly put into words what Captain Gillespie means to the York County Sheriff’s Office.” Comments are closed.
