YORK COUNTY – The York County Commissioners are considering installing three stop signs at the intersection of Roads M and 11, due to safety concerns.
The York County Highway Department is accepting applications for a full-time Road Crew 1 position. This job requires operating heavy equipment. Wages start at $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on qualifications plus benefit package (health insurance, wellness program, retirement plan, vacation, holiday & sick leave). Pre-employment background and drug screen required. The position is subject to a veteran's preference. York County is an EOE.

YORK COUNTY – The York County Commissioners and York County Roads Department is encouraging rural property owners to mow their ditches when and where needed, as there are many overgrown areas in the county.

YORK COUNTY – York County continues on its quest to replace old bridges throughout the county, tackling at least three a year, in order to stay on track with making sure all in good standing at all times.
