YORK COUNTY – City and county residents can no drop off tree debris in an area south of the landfill, starting now. Tree debris can be dropped off between the times of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to York Public Works. This free drop off area will be open until Sunday, March 30, at 5 p.m.
“This free tree debris dump is for residents only, as businesses will not be allowed to utilized the area,” city officials say. “The city will not be picking up limbs from residential areas. Please use the north entrance to the area. Signs will identify the area for storm-damaged limbs. Trash and construction/demolition loads are not permitted in this area. Persons found to be illegally dumping will receiving a fine, as the area will be monitored via cameras.” Comments are closed.
