YORK – After several years of public hearings and long conversations, the York County Commissioners are expected to take a vote on proposed zoning regulations when they meet in regular session next Tuesday, April 1. It appears the biggest disagreement between the board members is in regard to setbacks – how far away solar fields would be allowed to be from neighboring homes and farms. Some say the proposed setbacks for large commercial solar fields, as proposed, are too much and some say they are on board with those distances.
