YORK – The York County Commissioners have reappointed Jim Ulrich to the Four Corners Health Department’s board. The reappointment came up this past week during their regular meeting.
Laura McDougall, Four Corners director, recommended the reappointment. Ulrich is the CEO of York General, which McDougall says has been a major plus in having him on the public health department’s board of directors. “We have greatly appreciated him and he is currently our treasurer,” McDougall told the county commissioners. “He has also been on our building committee, working in that capacity during our big renovation project. The collaboration is great to have.” Ulrich told the commissioners he agreed with the collaboration, “and it’s even greater now with the medical clinic being part of York General. It’s been good to be part of the building project – and the end result of that project, well I don’t think the words of night and day accurately describe it. The building is now inviting to the public and it enhances the care being provided. I’m also impressed with the rest of the board, as they all bring great insight. And the team at Four Corners is very talented and full of passion about what they do. Thank you all for the opportunity.” The commissioners voted to reappoint Ulrich for the next three years.
