YORK – This past week, Jared Reimers, district coordinator for Congressman Adrian Smith, met briefly with the York County Commissioners. Reimers meets periodically with county boards in the Third District, to explain their services and the congressman’s committee assignments. He also takes questions, hears about issues and transfers concerns back to Smith in Washington, D.C.
Reimers talked about Smith’s work on the Ways and Means Committee and his ongoing endeavors in supporting trade for Nebraskans. “We want to work constituents to provide direct access to assistance, opportunities to access engagement for things like flags, casework and in navigating red tape,” Reimers explained. Reimers told the county board he realized they had a lengthy meeting and he didn’t want to take up too much of their time – they thanked him for stopping by. Comments are closed.
