YORK – The York County Commissioners, sitting as the county’s board of equalization, approved eight tax roll corrections this past week during their last meeting of 2025. The correction reasonings included how some properties were classified incorrectly.
One correction was tabled until their next meeting. All the tax list corrections – and the tabling of the last one – were recommended by the county assessor. They also approved the long list of motor vehicle exemptions for organizations which qualify. All of these exemptions had been approved in the past and were coming up for annual review. The board also approved a new motor vehicle exemption, for Renewed Horizon. This vehicle had recently been purchased and had not yet been approved. The county treasurer recommended approval of all the motor vehicle tax exemptions. Comments are closed.
