County board recommends liquor license for new owners of Henderson Fuel Mart/Henderson BP

​HENDERSON – This past week, the York County Commissioners were asked to consider a liquor license application filed by BPH S Prem S. Corp, which is the new owner of the Henderson Fuel Mart now known as Henderson BP.
A public hearing was held this past week. No one from the public appeared in favor of or against the application. No one representing the applicant was present either.
“We’ve dealt with this business before regarding changes in managers, for their liquor license, but this is the first for new owners,” said Commissioner Chairman Randy Obermier. “They have had liquor out there for a few years now. We turn our recommendation over to the liquor commission.”
The state liquor commission makes the final licensing decision.
All the commissioners voted in submitted a favorable recommendation.
