YORK -- When the York County Board of Commissioners meet in regular session on Feb. 18, they will be revisiting proposed changes to the employee handbook. For the past few months, a committee comprised of department heads, county board members and employees have been taking a deep dive into the employee handbook, along with Zelle, the county's human resources contractor.
Two weeks ago, they discussed all the proposed changes and came up with further revisions based on the county board members' opinions. This week, they are expected to take formal action. Also during this week's county commissioner meeting:
