County commissioners approve motor vehicle exemptions for the year

YORK – The York County Commissioners, sitting as the board of equalization, approved a long list of motor vehicle exemptions for the new year.

​This is done annually, pertaining to qualifying nonprofit organizations/entities.
The list before the commissioners this past week was the existing list – meaning all of these had been approved before and were recommended by the county treasurer.
The following are qualifying entities in York County and the number of exempt vehicles for each:

• Bethesda Mennonite Church of Henderson: 3
• Hope Gospel Rescue Mission: 1
• Epworth Village Inc.: 7
• Grace Children’s Home: 4
• Henderson Health Care Services Inc.: 2
• Nebraska Lutheran High School: 9
• Mosaic: 9
• Renewed Horizon: 4
• John’s Lutheran Church: 1
• York Adopt A Pet: 1
• York University: 23
• York General: 16
