County commissioners to consider haul route agreement with pipeline, fire suppression in jail11/11/2024
YORK – When the York County Commissioners meet in regular session on Tuesday, Nov. 12, they will be considering a haul route agreement with a CO2 pipeline company, a fire suppression project in the county jail and more. They will meet at 8:30 a.m., in the commissioners’ meeting room, which is located on the main floor of the courthouse next to the county clerk’s office.
Precision Pipeline will soon be installing a CO2 capture pipeline system which will connect many ethanol plants in the state, including the one in York County. The county already has haul route regulations in place for projects such as this – the company has been working with the highway superintendent to iron out the details.
