County commissioners to hold last meeting of 2025, set elected official salaries for term of 2027-30

​YORK – When the York County Commissioners meet in regular session on Tuesday, Dec. 23, it will be their last meeting of 2025. And it will be the time to set salaries for elected officials for the time period of 2027-2030.

​This is done every four years, right before filing begins the election cycle during which all the county officials (with the exception of two county board members) are elected.
Also during Tuesday’s meeting:

• They will hear information and discuss crime commission grants.
• A conversation will be held regarding the appointment of an emergency manager.
• They will consider the appointment of members to the board of adjustment for a three-year term.
• They will consider the appointments of Amy Bruch and August Richters to the extension board.
• The reappointment of Jim Ulrich to the Four Corners Health Department will be considered.
• The purchase of a generator will be considered.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting which will begin at 8:30 a.m., in the commissioners’ meeting room located on the main floor of the courthouse, next door to the clerk’s office.
