County commissioners to hold one- and six-year road program hearing

​YORK – When the York County Commissioners meet in regular session on Tuesday, Feb. 3, they will be holding their annual one- and six-year road program public hearing.

​This is held each February, as they plan what road/bridge projects will be done in the current year and what projects should be named as priorities for into the future.
Also during Tuesday’s meeting:

• The commissioners will consider a resolution “for partial payments of property taxes.”
• They will discuss and act on committee assignments.
• Board members will resume their discussion about possibly having a college intern work for the York County Visitors Bureau.
• The reappointments of Lonnie Berger and Jeff Stoy to the visitors bureau board will be considered.
• An agreement with the city of York regarding snow removal and maintenance of certain stretches of streets will be reviewed.
• A public hearing will be held regarding a conditional use permit as presented by the zoning administrator.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, which will begin at 8:30 a.m., in the county board meeting room which is located on the main floor of the courthouse.
