YORK COUNTY – The York County Commissioners have decided to use ARPA (federal COVID relief) funds to do three overlay projects next year. As explained by York County Commissioner Chairman Randy Obermier and York County Highway Superintendent Harvey Keim, the overlay projects will be in these three locations:
“We had competitive bidding, which is what we really like to see and we can do this project under the original estimate,” Obermier said. They received five bids:
Obermier said the city’s share will pertain to the area roughly from the fairgrounds to the soccer fields – he said they would share the cost for about 660 feet and an interlocal agreement will be created to reflect conversations already had with city officials. Comments are closed.
