County’s six-year road program projects

​YORK – The following are the projects on the current six-year road program for York County. 

​This is the list as presented by the roads department and approved by the county commissioners. Of course, projects can always be added as needed and projects from the six-year list can be bumped up to the one-year if needed. This is a list of priority projects for the future.

• Replace span on bridge on Road V between Roads U550 and U650
• Replace bridge on Road O between Roads 19 and 19
• Replace bridge on Road 11 between Roads S and T
• Clean ditches, replace culverts, rebuild, Road 11 between Roads T and U
• Clean ditches, replace culverts, rebuild, Road 9 between Roads B and D
• Clean ditches, replace culverts, rebuild, Road H between Roads 2 and 3
• Clean ditches, replace culverts, rebuild, Road 9 between Roads M and O
• Replace small timber bridge on Road 5 between Roads W and X
• Replace small concrete bridge on Road I between Roads 2 and 3
• Clean ditches, replace culverts, rebuild, Road 1 between Roads F and G
• Clean ditches, replace culverts, rebuild, Road 21 between Roads F and G
• Clean ditches, replace culverts, rebuild, Road 4 between Roads V and W

• Complete replacement of concrete on Road O between railroad tracks and Highway 34
• Mill and overlay Delaware Avenue between East 25th Street and Highway 34
• Mill and overlay West Fourth Street between Highway 81 and York city limits
• Replace bridge on Road 3 between Highway 81 and Road M
• Clean ditches, replace culvert, rebuild, Road 25 between Road U and Highway 69
• Clean ditches, replace culverts, rebuild, Road R between Road 14 and Highway 34
