Election filings continue

​YORK COUNTY – A few more election filings have taken place in York County in the last few days.

​Krystal Rasmussen filed to run for her seat on the McCool School Board and Sandra Browitt filed to run for McCool Village Board.
Incumbents seeking county, city or school board seats must file by Feb. 17 and non-incumbents must file by March 2.
Candidates for village board seats will see their deadlines arrived this summer, although they can file now if they so choose.
So far, the only people to have filed as candidates for the Primary Election have been Sharilyn Steube for clerk of the district court; Josh Gillespie for sheriff; Alysia Clark and Rasmussen for McCool School Board; Alison North and Alex Hildebrand for York School Board; Stephen Postier for York City Council.
Don Copeland and Rick Pfeifer have filed to run for their seats on the Waco Village Board.
Filings can be done at the election/clerk’s office at the York County Courthouse.
