YORK – Bob Sautter, who recently retired as director of the York County Visitors Bureau, was honored Tuesday, Jan. 7, for his many years of service. York County Commissioner Randy Obermier presented Sautter with an engraved cup following the commissioners’ regular meeting, noting they had intended for this presentation to happen earlier, but it was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Sautter was the first time in the county’s history to work full-time in that position. He started in June of 2001 – promoting York County tourism for 23 years. Comments are closed.
