YORK – Corrections Officer Kasey Thomas has been named the employee of the quarter by the York County Sheriff’s Office. The YSO honors staff members each quarter for exceptional service.
The YSO said, “throughout this quarter, Thomas consistently demonstrated outstanding dedication and dependability. She regularly stepped up to cover shifts when needed, helping ensure smooth operations during some of our busiest and most demanding times. Her reliability has been a tremendous support to both her co-workers and leadership. “Beyond her strong work ethic, she brings a positive, professional attitude to work every day. She is well respected by staff and consistently contributes as a collaborative, supportive team environment. Her teamwork and willingness to help others sets a strong example and helps foster a culture of cooperation and respect within our corrections division. “She approaches her duties with a smile and an unwavering commitment to the job. She never hesitates to take on challenges, works independently when needed and willingly puts in extra shifts to ensure adequate staffing and allow others time off. Her consistent performance, leadership and dedication have made a meaningful impact on our team’s success. “And of course, the shift wouldn’t be the same without her signature, ‘Howdy y’all’ greeting.” Comments are closed.
