Man arrested by YSO after found passed out in vehicle on Interstate 80

YORK COUNTY – The York County Sheriff’s Department arrested a male driver on Saturday, after he was found passed out behind the wheel in a vehicle on the shoulder of Interstate 80 in York County. 

​According to the sheriff’s office, on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 2:54 a.m., a deputy conducted a motorist assist on a vehicle parked on the shoulder near mile marker 346. The driver was found to be passed out at the wheel “and the driver was ultimately woken up by the deputy. A DUI investigation was conducted.
The driver was identified as Jose Reloba Alba, 36, of Grand Island. He was arrested and lodged at the York County Jail for possession of a controlled substance and fourth offense DUI.
