YORK -- Lead Supervisor Mary Marget has been named the York County Communications Employee of the Year. She has worked in emergency dispatching for 18 years, starting her career in the York Police Department. She then transitioned to the York County 911 Center in 2018.
During her time at York County 911, she has become a certified training officer and she moved up to lead supervisor in early 2024. She was chosen for this award by her peers “because of her commendable work ethic and dedication to the 911 center and the desire to help others in and around our community. Mary is constantly wanting to be part of more training opportunities to better herself and others in the 911 profession.” Employee of the Year awards are given annually to any member of the 911 communications department, recognizing excellence in their entire body of work for the previous year. “The nominee shall have consistently demonstrated a positive professional attitude, shall have the respect of their peers and demonstrate pride and quality in their work. At the end of each year, all staff members are asked to put in their vote for who should receive this award.” Comments are closed.
