The Nebraska Association of County Officials (NACO) is asking all Nebraska photographers to submit their best wildlife photos in a contest this summer – to showcase the natural wonders the state has to offer. This is a chance for York County residents to submit their photos of nature and have York County represented in the calendar!
The Wildlife Wonders Photography Contest will be open for entries until August 1. The winners will be announced in mid-September. The 13 winning photographs will be featured in NACO’s annual calendar (one each month and one on the cover) and the grand prize winner will receive $100. Even if a photo does not win, it might still be featured in a number of NACO publications, including the official website and social media. Photographers are asked to take a spectacular photo of a native plant or animal somewhere in Nebraska.
