YORK – York County Assessor Kurt Bulgrin says individuals with personal property located in York County can now file their personal property returns for the 2026 assessment year. “Please make sure to file on or before May 1 to avoid a late filing penalty,” Bulgrin says. “As a reminder, we are not sending returns in the mail this year, but returns will be emailed upon request. Also, federal depreciation worksheets will be required when filing your return this year.”
The assessor’s office has sent out postcards as reminders, which will be arriving in York County mailboxes soon (see accompanying photo of what the postcards look like). “Options for filing your 2026 return include:
