YORK -- The York County Commissioners and the York County Zoning/Planning Board will be holding a public hearing regarding solar zoning regulations on Monday, April 27.
It will be held at the York County Courthouse, starting at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend as individuals will provide testimony of support and opposition, as well as suggestions and observations, regarding proposed zoning regulations for solar projects in York County. The last public hearing regarding this topic was held April 15, 2024, and the conversation has been ongoing since. While the public hearing will be held April 27, it is expected the county commissioners will not vote on the matter (setting the solar zoning regulations in place) until the morning of Tuesday, April 28.
