Qualified organizations reminded to turn in tax exemption reaffirmation forms by end of year12/24/2025
YORK – Qualified organizations are reminded they must turn in their Statements of Reaffirmation of Tax Exemption (Form 451A) to the York County Assessor’s office by 5 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 31, according to Assessor Kurt Bulgrin. “The Form 451A is filed by organizations who have already been approved for a permissive exemption, and it shows the assessor’s office they are still using their property for the original exempt use,” Bulgrin explained.
“Organizations can also file an Exemption Application (From 451) for a property which does not currently have a permissive exemption, but meets the exempt qualifications for agricultural and horticultural societies, educational, religious, charitable or cemetery organizations. The Form 451 is also due to the assessor’s office by 5 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 31.” If anyone has questions about permissive exemptions, they should contact the York County Assessor’s Office at 402-362-4926, option 6, or by email at [email protected].
