The York County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging traffic safety during harvest season.
“As harvest season is in full swing, our country roads are busier with farm equipment, grain trucks, and local traffic. Please remember: • Slow down and give yourself extra time on rural routes. • Be patient when sharing the road with farm equipment—many can’t travel at highway speeds. • Watch for turns into fields and driveways, which may come up suddenly. • Stay alert at intersections, as tall crops can block visibility. Your patience and caution help keep our farmers, families and neighbors safe during this busy time of year. Let’s all do our part to ensure everyone makes it home safely this harvest season.” Comments are closed.
