YORK – Tonight, Monday, April 21, is the final event in a series called “Renewable Energy in Nebraska,” sponsored by Conservation Nebraska. Several other speaking events on the topic of renewable energy have already been held.
Tonight’s event will be held from 7-8 p.m., at the Holthus Convention Center in York. It is free and open to the public. Tonight, the topic will focus on county zoning and utility scale renewable projects. JEO Consulting Planning Department Manager Jeff Ray will discuss zoning strategies which support renewable energy development and showcase successful planning models from across the state.
