YORK – The York County Commissioners will be meeting with department heads and elected officials today (Tuesday, Aug. 4), to discuss their budgetary needs and wants for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
York County Commissioner Chairman Daniel Grotz said they will start the sessions in the morning, during the regular meeting. At some point, they will recess and then reconvene at 4:30 p.m., in the afternoon, to talk with the county officials who cannot attend during the regular meeting. The public is encouraged to attend both the morning and late afternoon sessions. This will be an opportunity for the public to hear more about county spending, as the commissioners hear directly from the heads of different departments about their individual spending, concerns and needs.
