YORK – The York County Commissioners have extended the county’s contract with Zelle, a human resources consulting firm, for another year.
When the county first started working with Zelle, the commissioners signed off on a one-year contract. Then it went to a nine-month contract and somewhere along the way it went to a 30-day agreement. Zelle asked the county to continue their services, with the monthly fee staying the same, with a one-year contract. “I’m fine with it,” said Commissioner Randy Obermier. “I was the biggest skeptic on this board before we started working with Zelle, but we’ve seen how much we actually use them. And it would be much, much more expensive if we had a HR position in-house.” The county board agreed to sign the one-year contract with Zelle. Comments are closed.
