YORK – Investigator Nolan Janzen has been named the Employee of the Quarter for the York County Sheriff’s Department. The YSO said, “During this quarter, Investigator Janzen played a pivotal role in solving numerous high-profile cases, including a nearly 10-year-old case of sexual assault of a child. This was a very tough case to work as the victim described a horrific series of events that she was subjected to, and proving the case would be difficult as it was so old. Investigator Janzen interviewed the suspect and obtained a complete confession to every criminal element of the case which led to a multi-felony arrest. This interview was second to none and Investigator Janzen was observed to use top-tier interview tactics all while offering dignity and the utmost respect to the suspect. Investigator Janzen spent countless hours on this case and was able to bring justice for the minor victim.
“This is just one example of numerous cases Investigator Janzen was involved in and was able to solve this quarter. No matter the case, Investigator Janzen is always willing to provide assistance. Investigator Janzen has done a wonderful job of jumping into this tough role and is taking our investigations division to new heights. “Not only is he doing great things in our investigations division, but he also consistently supports the patrol deputies that he works with. His meticulous attention to detail, tireless work ethic, and collaborative spirit set a powerful example for this agency and our profession.” And the YSO says further, “Investigator Janzen is more than deserving of this award. His work, integrity and drive reflect the highest standards of our agency. It is because of people like Investigator Jansen that the York County Sheriff’s Office continues to have a good reputation in our community, across the state, and in our profession. We appreciate Investigator Janzen’s unwavering commitment to public safety in York County and excellence in criminal investigations. His contributions will have a lasting impact on our community and agency.” Comments are closed.
