YORK – The York County Planning/Zoning Commission will be meeting at 5:30 p.m., on April 30, in the county commissioners’ meeting room. The main scope of their conversation will be toward the updating process of the county’s comprehensive plan.
Soon, public townhall meetings will be held regarding the comprehensive plan. Meanwhile, the public can attend these meetings of the planning/zoning commission as the entire process is being formed. The comprehensive plan is updated every 10 years. The comprehensive plan is a roadmap, of sorts, to show the direction the county is headed when it comes to zoning, land use, infrastructure and more.
