YORK COUNTY – A deputy with the York County Sheriff’s Office allegedly found cocaine and methamphetamine during a traffic stop in York County. According to Sgt. Taylor Samek with the YSO, on Nov. 23, the deputy was on regular patrol at 10:59 p.m., when he stopped a vehicle on Highway 81 near Road 21 for a traffic violation.
Sgt. Samek said “during the course of the stop, the deputy developed probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search, deputies uncovered methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The deputy also noted signs of symptoms that the driver of the vehicle may have been under the influence of drugs. A drug influence evaluation was conducted by a drug recognition expert with the YSO which determined the driver was under the influence of drugs and was unable to safely operate a motor vehicle. The driver was subsequently lodged at York County Corrections.” The driver was identified as Charles Biskeborn, 67, of Chester. He was arrested on the following charges: possession of 10-28 grams of methamphetamine, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, no drug tax stamp, possession of a controlled substance, fist offense DUI (drugs), possession of less than an house of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
