YORK COUNTY – A York County traffic stop led to an investigation in Gage County and two people being arrested there on drug charges. According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, Oct. 16, deputies were conducting traffic enforcement on Interstate 80, between mile markers 350 and 355, while road construction crews with the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) were working on a project in that area. At 11:56 p.m., a sergeant was on a traffic stop when a passing motorist failed to move over for the emergency vehicle. The sergeant conducted the stop and then a stop on the motorist who had failed to move over. According to the sheriff’s office, the driver of the vehicle, Jetta Von Ohlen, 41, of Central City, was later arrested for possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and failing to move over for a stopped emergency vehicle. “Information was obtained during this traffic stop which led to the issuance of a search warrant for a residence in rural Gage County. Deputies with the Gage County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant at the residence where they located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Two individuals identified as Jacqueline Bursovsky, 62, and Shawn Bursovsky, 59, of Adams, were arrested and lodged at Gage County Corrections for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
