York County voters cast ballots for local school board races

YORK COUNTY – York County voters voiced their opinions regarding school board races in the area during Tuesday’s General Election. 

The following are vote totals pertaining to school board seats, which were cast and counted in York County:

• York School Board: Brian Tonniges, 3,085; Brien Alley, 2,739; Matt Holthe, 2,790. All three win seats on the school board as they ran unopposed.
• McCool Junction School board: Michele Schwartz, 284; Stephanie Jacobsen, 168; Abbie Christian, 282; Grant Jackson, 291; Tristan Perry, 236. There were three seats up for election.
• Heartland School Board: Lacey Gloystein, 843; Tyler Newton, 894; Jeb Mierau, 689. All three will take seats on the school board as they ran unopposed.

The following vote totals are those which were cast in York County, not the final totals as votes from other counties must be considered as well and were not available as of publication time:

• Centennial School Board: Doug Cast, 494; Bryce Borchers, 456; Cole Henderson, 421.
• Cross County School Board: Quinn Peterson, 176; Cindy Nyberg, 192; Aaron Phillips, 165.
• Exeter-Milligan School Board: Eric Milton, 26; Paul Jurgensen, 22; Rachel Johnson, 21; Eric Johnson, 15.
• Hampton School Board: Megan Faller, 3; Tamara Wiens, 2; Derek Klute, 4; Mitchell Fagan, 2.
• High Plains School Board: Dorinda Brown, 32; Kayla Zoucha, 22; Chad Hoffman, 41.
• Sutton School Board: Brent Mau, 9; James Jones Jr., 6; Teryl Andersen, 7
