York Elks Lodge donates medical supplies to York County Veterans office

​YORK – With the assistance of the Elks National Foundation Freedom Grant, the York Elks Lodge #1024 donated $1,000 worth of medical supplies to the York County Veterans office.
Included among the items were knee scooters, wheelchair seat pads, shower chairs and more.
Elks members said, “This contribution helps ensure our local veterans receive the care and support they deserve. Thank you to our volunteers for making this possible and to our veterans for their service to our great nation.”
Members delivered the items to the office, which is located at the courthouse. Accepting the items was York County Veterans Services Officer Nick Wollenburg.
