Zoning regulations to be considered during county board meeting, as well as many other issues on Tuesday

​YORK – During the York County Commissioners’ regular meeting on Tuesday, April 28, the board members will be considering solar project zoning regulations after many years of conversations.
They are expected to take a vote on proposed regulations in the form of a resolution on Tuesday. This comes after a public hearing is scheduled on the matter Monday night, April 27, at 7 p.m.
Also on Tuesday’s agenda:

• A public hearing will be held on a conditional use permit application filed by Kevin and Marcy Senff.
• The annual gravel bids will be opened and discussed.
• Service bids for heating and air conditioning systems will be considered.
• An improvement grant application, filed by York University, will be presented and considered.
• The annual consideration of bids for mowing abandoned, historic cemeteries – Zion and Union – will be before the commissioners.
• An agreement with the City of York will be considered for ambulance services in areas where local services don’t already exist.
• As the board of equalization, they will talk about claims filed with the Tax Equalization Review Commission and tax list corrections.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting which will begin at 8:30 a.m., in the commissioners’ meeting room, located on the main floor of the courthouse.
