Must be a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age and have a BA in social services, education, psychology or a related field. Also experience working with youth and excellent communication skills. Some knowledge about the court system preferred but not required. Position open until filled.

This job requires operating heavy equipment and driving trucks to maintain county roads. Wages start at $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on qualifications plus benefit package (health insurance, wellness program, retirement plan, vacation, holiday & sick leave) Pre-employment background and drug screen required. Obtain information from callers requesting emergency response including fire, ambulance and law enforcement-related emergencies. Maintain status of officers and their welfare through proper communications. Dispatch appropriate emergency service equipment and personnel within the city of York and to communities and residents located within York County. Wages start at $18.00-$21.00 per hour DOE. York County is an EOE. This position is subject to a veteran's preference.
Applicants must be 21 years of age; possess a high school diploma/GED; and hold a valid Nebraska driver’s license. Applicants must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills; operate a variety of computer programs; and perform in a high-stressed environment. Successful applicants will be subject to a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen.
