YORK -- Local filings continue for the Primary Election as one day remains for incumbents to file their candidacies.
YORK – The York County Commissioners have given their nod of approval to this year’s one- and six-year road/bridge program.

YORK – Local incumbents are reminded they have only a few days to file their candidacies to run for reelection in the spring Primary Election.
YORK COUNTY – A special award has been given to Lieutenant Alex Hildebrand as the York County Sheriff’s Department has named him as its Deputy of the Year.
YORK COUNTY – On Feb. 6, deputies with the York County Sheriff’s Department were involved in a high speed pursuit which ended with the driver, a minor, being taken into custody.
YORK – The York County Commissioners will welcome their new member, LeRoy Ott (representing District 2) when they convene in regular session on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
The following local races are up for consideration in the 2024 election cycle and filings need to take place with the Primary Election period. Incumbents need to file by Feb. 15 and non-incumbents must file by March 1.
York County Sheriff’s deputies participate in MADD training; director explains entity’s role in victim advocacy and support for law enforcement
YORK COUNTY – The York County Sheriff’s Department held a training session this past week, with deputies hearing from the executive director of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) regarding the entity’s support for law enforcement and their work in advocating for victims.
YORK COUNTY – LeRoy Ott has been chosen as the York County Commissioner representing District 2.
