YORK COUNTY – York County Assessor Kurt Bulgrin and the Property Assessment Division of the Nebraska Department of Revenue are reminding property owners how real property valuation change notices will be sent out by the county assessor’s office on June 1.

​YORK COUNTY -- The York County Sheriff’s Office Employee of the Quarter is awarded to a sheriff’s department employee whose conduct over the evaluation period is deserving of recognition. The nomination for this award is primarily based on consistent high performance in job duties, exceeding performance expectations, outstanding customer service, remarkable leadership, or significant contributions to a case or project. 

McCOOL JUNCTION – The York County Sheriff’s Department says a man was arrested in McCool Junction after allegedly stealing a vehicle and then running from a deputy. 

YORK COUNTY – York County Sheriff’s deputies located a juvenile in a stolen vehicle on Interstate 80, after being notified by the boy’s parent. 

YORK COUNTY – After nine years of service on the York County Planning and Zoning Committee, Roger Morris has announced his retirement from that position.

YORK – With a 4-1 vote, the York County Commissioners determined this past week the properties owned by Grace Children’s Home in Henderson will remain property tax exempt.
