York County deputies locate juvenile in stolen vehicle

YORK COUNTY – York County Sheriff’s deputies located a juvenile in a stolen vehicle on Interstate 80, after being notified by the boy’s parent. 

According to Sgt. Taylor Samek, on May 29, at 6:25 p.m., deputies were detailed to the area of Interstate 80 in reference to a stolen vehicle.
“The reporting party told York County 911 his son was reported as missing and maybe in a stolen vehicle somewhere along Interstate 80 in York County. Deputies ultimately located the missing juvenile in a stolen vehicle near mile marker 355. The juvenile was taken into custody as he had eight active warrants for his arrest, on top of being reported as missing.”
Sgt. Samek said the juvenile was then turned over to District 5 Juvenile Probation for placement.
