Commissioners to again address zoning regulations proposed to forward for adoption

YORK – The York County Commissioners will again address solar project zoning regulations when they meet in regular session Tuesday morning, April 2. 

​The purpose will be to “discuss and act on zoning regulations proposed to forward for adoption.”
A public hearing in the matter has not yet been scheduled, although it will likely happen in the next few weeks. The public hearing will be held in a larger venue than the commissioners’ meeting room, as the attendance is expected to be substantial.
Also on Tuesday’s regular agenda:

• The board will consider the salary for the deputy York County District Court Clerk. This is being considered as the personnel in that position is changing.
• They will meet with Elaine Menzel from the Nebraska Association of County Officials (NACO).
• An agreement with the Lancaster County Youth Center will be considered as it pertains to juvenile detention services.
• A motor vehicle tax exemption application from York General will be considered, for a Chevrolet SUV.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, which will begin at 8:30 a.m., in the commissioners’ meeting room.
