Commissioners to consider insurance, projects

​YORK – When the York County Commissioners meet in regular session on Tuesday, Nov. 14, they will discuss the county’s employee insurance program and several projects.

​Every November, they choose the health insurance plan for the following calendar year.
Also on Tuesday, they will open bids for a project that would replace/move back the south wall of the garage area on the south side of the courthouse. They discussed this project earlier and decided to put it out for bid to see what the costs would be.
They will also open bids for a fencing project at the roads department.
Included in Tuesday’s agenda:

• County board members will consider the reappointment of Shannon Siebert to the York County Visitors Bureau Board.
• They will consider an amendment to a NIRMA agreement.
• Consideration will be given to an agreement with Regier, Carr and Monroe, CPAs.
• As the board of equalization, they will consider striking a parcel from the tax rolls as it is uncollectible.

The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m., in the commissioners’ meeting room on the main floor of the courthouse.
