Commissioners to consider reappointments to planning and zoning board

YORK – When the York County Commissioners meet in regular session next Tuesday, Oct. 17, they will be considering the reappointments of members of the county’s planning and zoning board. 

​They will consider reappointing Roger Morris, Aaron Kavon, Rod Matlock, Karl Heine and Chad Hirschfeld.
This is a very important board for the county because they are tasked with reviewing and formulating proposed zoning regulations which are then presented to the commissioners for their final consideration.
These reappointments will be for three-year terms.
Also on Tuesday’s agenda:

• The board will discuss and act on the courtroom inventory and consider an agreement regarding acceptance of recently installed technology by the state.
• Consideration will be given to reappointing Dale Radcliff, Willard Peterson, Fran Reinert and Becky Green to the York County Aging Committee.
• As the board of equalization, they will consider a vehicle exemption application filed by York University for a 2020 Toyota Camry.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, which will begin at 8:30 a.m., in the commissioners’ meeting room, which is located on the main floor of the courthouse next to the clerk’s office.
