YORK – Nate Heinz, York County’s zoning administrator, told the commissioners this week the final planning and zoning commission meeting regarding zoning regulations for solar fields has been set. There had been difficulties getting a date set in December, but the meeting has now been secured for Jan. 25, at 6 p.m. He said the public hearing will be held at the Holthus Convention Center.
“The board will vote on the recommendations they will be making to you, the county commissioners,” Heinz said. “This will be their final meeting on the matter and then their recommendations will come to this board for consideration.” Heinz said the proposed regulations, which will be before the planning and zoning commission, will be made public on the county’s website later this week. They will be posted there, for the public to review prior to the public meeting. Comments are closed.
